The unique concept of The Performance Institute Powered by World Sports Betting, first came to life during a conversation between EFC Middle Weight Champion, Luke Michael, and World Sports Betting CEO, Warren Tannous, early in 2022.
Luke Michael and World Sports Betting have had a long-standing relationship and so the opportunity to create a ‘Never been seen before’ facility together, immediately sparked great enthusiasm in the collaborating brands.
It was decided that in spring of 2023, in Cape Town, South Africa, this vision would officially come to life.
Our fully functional gym section is kitted out with everything you need for an epic cross training work-out, as well as a specialized strength and conditioning area. Flowing into our designated Mixed Martial Arts zone; inclusive of top of the range boxing equipment and world-class Brazilian jiu jitsu mats. Open six days a week with a jam-packed timetable to choose your slots from.
Some exciting things that can be expected is that of our very own in house Michael’s Café where you can sip on some great coffee, order delicious meals and shop some of your favorite local fitness brands in our apparel store. All of this while enjoying a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain, with free WIFI to use at your leisure.
Furthermore, we have our very own physiotherapist and biokineticist available for bookings in one of our recovery rooms.
What’s even more convenient about us is that we have fully equipped locker rooms, with private showers and dressing rooms; where you can get ready for work or play straight after your session.
